“Surface” was the second episode from the Synthesizer Sonudtracks by Boris Divider.
Written and produced in 2012 and released in 2013
Inspired in the past but rearranged in the future.
This time sequential analog synth lines are surrounded by digital signals, drones and atmospheric textures. A step forward but keeping the tracks recorded in realtime.
The background story and design got the ambience based on the isolation and no human being presence of the mars surface, and the 60’s-70’s Mariner and Vinking NASA missions to this planet.
Most of the tracks were recorded on the air, playing synths and keyboards in live mode specially for this production...
Published in two limited edition formats. Black vinyl and Orange marbled editions.
